Product Review : Soul Tree Ayurvedic Kajal

issue one : borrowed from before

Want to achieve Egyptian eyes the untainted way?

To achieve Jenny's Egyptian-inspired eyes, I used Soul Tree Ayurvedic Kajal in Pure Black.

The idea was not to recreate the look exactly because that has been done a thousand times before - but rather use the traditional looks as a source of inspiration and simply explore the product.

The kajal goes on smoothly and easily and has great colour payoff.

The Soul Tree Ayurvedic Kajal in Pure Black  is a creamy charcoal black with a matt finish.

If you have particularly oily eyelids (and are using it on the lid as opposed to in the water line) make sure to use a primer and set it afterwards with a translucent powder, as it does move a bit.

Soul Tree Ayurvedic Kajals are made from combining black carbon from vegetable oil lamps, organic ghee, organic almond oil and natural mineral colours to produce a silky soft feel on your eyes. They come in a range of amazing vivid colours, so you don't have to scrimp on your creativity.

The eye's the limit!
